Sometimes we just need to wait on God. Don’t try to make your own wise decisions, wait on God!
There are days that you will not know which way to turn or what to do. Maybe you are in the dark about your future? Or about a decision that you need to make, or even a promise of God. Cast out your anchor and wait. There are times in life when you dare not move forward, backward, left or right. In that hour, don’t be tempted to formulate your own plans. Stand still and see the salvation of God.
“I am with you in the darkness. Just hang on, praying, waiting, listening to My voice, If you do not have My guidance you will be cast on the rocks and then be lost. Wait My child, wait, I will never leave you, nor forsake you; I will not even release My grip on you! With Me, nothing is impossible”
How do we know God’s perfect plan for our lives?
You can only know that through prayer. God has provided us a prayer in His word that will allow us to receive the wisdom we need.
Col. 1:9 – 11 “For this cause we… do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of God’s will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. That you might walk worthy of the Lord, unto all pleasing, be fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness”
This is a powerful prayer that will enable you to know God’s will, and have the wisdom to understand it and to carry it out. Don’t mess your life up with your own plans and fleshly decisions. You can be sure God will answer this prayer, make it your own.
God will fill you with His knowledge and understanding,
I am at a place in my life where I need a lot of wisdom... And I am waiting on God for first hand revelation and wisdom. Not my plans Lord, Yours.
