Do you believe or do you have faith?

Do you believe or do you have faith?

Throughout the world I see that so many Christians do not understand the difference between ‘believing and having faith.’

Belief and faith are totally different from each other. It is possible to believe in something, yet not having faith in it. For example believing in YHVH’s Word, but not having the faith to use it. Believing in Christ, yet not have the faith to make His promises yours; believing that there is a Kingdom, filled with blessings, but not opening it up.

Faith is acting on what you believe. Faith is the key in opening up the kingdom; bringing it down to earth. If we don’t have faith to act on His Word, we cannot receive the fullness of what He promises His children to have. Without faith, we are no different than the demons who also believed. Many don’t receive healing, deliverance, abundance or even the promises of God in His Word. And without faith we will never enter into His peace and contentment. There will be a deadly striving inside of you that will ultimately wear you out, because you will never be good enough. Our own effort -without faith in God YHVH - brings no life.

The worst of it all is – Hebrews 11:6 says, “Without faith we cannot please God”.

We have to do more than just believing, we have to act on what we believe. We believe in YHVH God and we believe in His Word. The Word works only when we act upon it. Action upon it is faith – meaning I have to do what it says and then I will reap the reward.

We trust people more than we trust the Word of God. When God gives you His Word filled with Spiritual laws, He wants us to act upon them so that we can receive them.

His Word is the key that opens the lock in your life. But if you don’t use the key, the lock can never be opened. We need to bring Kingdom to earth and the key to bring it down is God’s Word filled with Spiritual laws. You have to use them to bring it down. It is not good enough to know about them. It is like having the key, but not using the key to open up the abundance of God’s Kingdom in your life.

Hebrews 11:1 Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

‘Faith’ is the evidence of the things not seen. ‘Now’ means acting it out from moment to moment.

I can only ‘see’ in faith with ‘eyes of faith’ – eyes of understanding.

2 Corinthians 5:7 We walk by faith and not by sight. That means do not look at the things that are seen, but at the things that are not seen. I need to allow my spirit man to tune into the realm of YHVH God. When I see what He sees by faith, I can bring Kingdom to earth through faith – acting on the Word.

He also gave us guaranteed spiritual laws that can be used to bring Kingdom down. But strangely enough people don’t realize the power in these spiritual laws and might not even know what they are.

Here are some examples of Spiritual laws.

Prov 24:10 The desire of the Righteous shall be granted - The law of staying in right standing with God

Prov 23:7 For as a man think in his heart, so is he - The law of thoughts

Mark 11:23 You shall have whatever you say. (the words you speak today are the house you live in tomorrow) – The Law of power of your words

Prov.18:21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it shall eat its fruit - The law of words

Mark 9:23 All things are possible to him that believes - The law of trust

James 2:20 Faith without works is dead - The law of taking action

Gal 6:7 For whatever a man sow, that shall he also reap – The Law of sowing and reaping

2 Cor 8:9 If you sow sparingly, you will also reap sparingly - The law of sowing and reaping

Prov 31:26 Be kind and kindness will follow you – The Law of kindness

Math 18:23-25 God forgive those who forgive others. - The law of mutual forgiveness

1 Pet 5:6 God exalts those who humble themselves - The law of humility

Law of Obedience = Reaping Blessings

Law of Disobedience = Reaping Curses

As we follow these Spiritual laws – (and these are only a few) we can receive all of YHVH’s blessings, miracles, understanding, receive answers, solutions, wisdom, knowledge, victory over battles, receive divine protection, health and an abundant life in Christ.

But, we have to live by faith! We have to put it in practice and believe that it is our portion as a child of YHVH God.

These things make me so excited. Because, I look at the battles we all fight daily and see that only where we accept the lies of the enemy do they become our portion. But, where we reject them and take God’s Word and open up His Kingdom – true life comes in. It is a spiritual battle and it needs to be fought in the spirit. That is why God gave us these laws to live by.

The law of faith is recorded throughout the Bible. Look at the ’Faith Hall of Fame’ in Hebrews 11. Instance after instance, men and woman in the Bible had faith and used it.

I choose daily to walk by faith and not by sight. Many battles are so tough that it would make me lame and totally discouraged if I focus on them in the flesh. I have learned to walk by faith and to fight in the spirit, using the laws of the spirit. No battle is stronger than God, His Word and His spiritual laws. I believe that Faith is God’s Word in action.

Without faith - we cannot please God. Remember – nothing is impossible with God.

Retah and family.
