I am in Vancouver Island, Canada, and the churches all came together for my meetings and we had one big open heaven. The reason: Unity!
How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron's beard, down upon the collar of his robes. It is as if the dew of Hermon were falling on Mount Zion. For there the LORD bestows his blessing, even life forevermore (Psalm 133).
I can see how our Abba is calling out to all of us: Be prepared! “Retah, there are enough eco’s out there; I am looking for a voice. Go and proclaim with a prophetic voice: Prepare the Highway for the King in the wilderness. That wilderness is the wilderness in people’s souls.”
The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom… And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; wicked fools will not go about on it (Read Isaiah 35).
The King is on His way, but is the Bride prepared? Most of us think she is, but what does the Bride really look like? She will be in love with her Bridegroom.
This is greatest invitation of all time: Jesus making His love call to His Church - the invitation to enter into a marriage relationship with Himself. Many of us know Him as our Healer, Savior, and Provider - but do you know Him as the Bridegroom?
God is preparing the wedding feast of the Lamb; and I can see around the world how He Himself is calling those who are invited to this great celebration. Blessed - BLESSED - are those who are INVITED! I see with my own eyes how He is calling His bride: “My BELOVED – My BRIDE.” But only those who He calls by this special name will hear His voice and the trumpet call in this last hour.
“My Bride, you need to be prepared, you need to have the right garment on, you need to let the Father lift your veil so that you can see Me, and all the secrets about this Kingdom. I only share My secrets with My Bride – because we are one, and she is mature enough to handle what I disclose.”
The parable of the Wedding feast in Matthew 22 tells us that some will be guests and some will be the Bride. That is why the Spirit is calling us to hear the sound of the trumpet. Our ears need to be finely tuned in to His voice in order to hear this sound. This is the only way that you will hear what the Spirit is saying to the Bride in this last hour. When people try to argue with me about this I just bless them. Through Aldo’s letters I know what a strong effect this has in the spirit - Blessing those who revile and persecute you, will always make blessing come to rest upon you (Matt. 5:11-12 & 44-45). I can see how Abba Father is lifting the veil off the Bride so that she can see clearly, and it is the TRUTH that sets the Bride free.
So many people do “good acts” here on earth in the hope that they will receive a reward one day in heaven. I want to tell you today: Servants receive rewards, but sons receive an inheritance. Then there is the Bride… she is not seeking a reward, or an inheritance, or position, or her name written in lights and fame…. She is seeking the Bridegroom!
All night long on my bed I looked for the one my heart loves… I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him. The watchmen found me as they made their rounds in the city, "Have you seen the one my heart loves?” Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother's house, to the room of the one who conceived me (See Song of Songs 3: 1-4).
She is deeply, intensely, in LOVE with Him. She will do anything that He asks of her for no other reason except because she loves Him.
"If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you (John 14:15-18).
She will go wherever He sends her; she will follow Him wherever He leads. She will lay down her life willingly to be with Him. No price is too high to pay for her Beloved. The Lord revealed to me the other day that only the Bride (not the guests) will have this yearning for Jesus to return, because she is lovesick for Him. She is the one crying out with the Spirit of God: Come Lord Jesus Come!!! (Rev. 22:17), not the guests. The one thing she desires is to look into His eyes where she can lose herself and gaze into His glory and power like it says is Psalm 63:
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands.
The Spirit and the Bride are one, and together they call out: PREPARE THE HIGHWAY FOR THE KING!
Is there a highway being built in your wilderness? Because we all have a wilderness in some way or another in our lives. Are the walls that need to protect your city (your Jerusalem, your temple where the Holy Spirit dwells) guarded, protected, completed and safe, so that the King can dwell there?
You can only gaze into His glory if your veil is lifted. That is why we sometimes don’t understand things. That is where arguments and divisions come from about the Word, because we look through a veil of pride. There is mixed streams flowing throughout the world, turbulent and bitter water, and only God’s light can separate the pure streams of water from the bitter streams. Just like in Genesis where God’s light divided the water with the firmament (Gen. 1:6-9), so His light will separate the darkness in your life.
When the Bride begins her day, she starts by looking into His eyes and proclaiming her dependence on Him, and that she will not trust in her own capabilities but in His strength and His grace. The Bride lives in total dependence of her Bridegroom.
Her heart burns with love for her King. Her every thought concerns Him. On her lips she has the name above all names: Yeshua…. Yeshua, my Beloved!
He gives her a kiss before she starts her day, and this kiss is firsthand revelation – a veil being lifted – and throughout the day she sees, and hears, and acts according to the Spirit of God, because she knows He is coming for a Spirit Bride that needs to be ready. This kiss makes her heart explode. Her spirit enlarges and He increases while she decreases. This kiss unites the spirit of the Bride and the Bridegroom – without a word they become one; and she can hear Jesus asking the Father: I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me (John 17:22-23).
This is how I feel today – my spirit wants to explode about God’s great, great love for me! I am sitting on the balcony of the guesthouse here in Vancouver, and I look out over the waters surrounding the Island.
I phoned home and heard about all the things that God was busy doing there, and I felt a bit jealous that I couldn’t be a part of it all; but while I am here I can see the other hand of what God is doing to prepare His Bride. Abba showed me so many things, but I don’t want to make this letter to long – it will have to wait for another time.
He showed me the garment of the Bride, and I stand amazed and wonder how many people actually have this garment on? For how many is the veil actually lifted so that they can know the truth? Last night after 12 o’clock I fell on my knees and honored Abba that His Spirit was so tangible in the meeting, and that He shifted so many things in the spirit. He answered me and said it was because there was such unity in the spirit. All the churches together, seeking one thing: God!!! It is only the truth that can set us free.
I must say, I am missing my family a lot! We are being spoiled here in Vancouver Island, and here is an open heaven, the people are wonderful and the food tastes like my Mom’s home cooked meals.
I stopped in Seattle and visited with a friend, Scott Brodie and his family. He has been writing our ministry for almost three years now, and he is a true hero of the faith. He is suffering from Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, a disease of progressive muscle wasting.
(You can read Scotts heroic story on his web-site www.deathvalleypromises.org, and even find him on facebook if you want to send him personal messages.
Here is a short excerpt from their web-page: Perhaps you have had a time where God has spoken to you a vision, promise or comfort. We are able to perceive that He is active in our lives, as we acknowledge Him in our ways. Sometimes the Holy Spirit speaks very loudly in our spirits for our situations but most times it is the still small voice that guides us. I urge you to trust Him in the ways He has spoken to you, it will always be consistent with his Word and His character. …to give you an expectation and a hope…lest you despair and say there is no God. His Word is living, Jesus was the Word made flesh, He spoke His Word and the world came into existence but He also reveals His Word to us by revelation and applicability. It applies to us; we can live through Him! As His Word abides in you and you abide in Him, you can have a responsive relationship with an active, living God who cares for you. Place your hope in Him.)
He and his family were such a blessing to me! To see how God moulds and forms us even in the midst of tremendous trails, and how they stand in faith and still praise God – no matter what! I see how the entire family stands together and how they appreciate every moment of life. Now I understand a bit better what people mean when they say they stand amazed at how much we enjoy and appreciate life regardless of our heartache and pain.
In Dallas we also had an amazing time, and took people to a deeper dimension of the spirit realm with a Spirit School. Holy Spirit definitely came to lift up the veil. I honor Abba for people who are hungry for the truth – hungry for more of Him and Him alone.
In this last hour, don’t put your eyes on people, but call out to ABBA Father. His Spirit will guide you and lead you. Stay in the Word of God, and honor God for everything in your life.
Give your children a tight hug and tell them how much you love them. I would have loved to do that today. I miss my small Zozzie today, but I know that my prayers are like a snug blanket that covers them. He and Tinus went to a Father and Son camp this weekend, and I know that he needs the time alone with Tinus. He doesn’t know it yet, but I am also going to get my portion and spend time with him alone, just the two of us. As long as we don’t have to go camping in a tent - I am not good with the camping thing!
Aldo is growing up fast, and every day I can see God working through Him more and more, just the way he is - not his mother’s dreams for him, but God’s dreams. That is my prayer for my children every day: “Father, please take them into YOUR destiny for their lives, for that is the only place where they will receive peace and happiness, and life.”
(I hope Judike won’t scold me for this long letter, but my heart is overflowing and I guess I am missing everyone at home too much!)
May God take you into the depths of His Kingdom, and bless you richly.
Peace and Love to you from Canada.
Retah.
